About Xceptional Innovations

Xceptional Innovations and Consulting LLC was founded by Roni Modica, a retired female aerospace engineer, with over 33 years of experience working for the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community.  Throughout her career Ms. Modica developed and delivered very innovative capabilities to address some of our nation's most challenging national security problems.  Now as an entrepreneur, she is focused on using her company to develop new cutting edge aerospace capabilities.  Xceptional Innovations is aiming to invent new types of upper atmospheric and near space vehicles that deliver persistent, reliable access anywhere on the globe for a wide array of applications and customers.  Xceptional Innovations is also working on developing affordable microsatellites with small propulsion systems that have the capability to go to the moon and beyond.  All of these new ideas are being developed by a small team of engineers and mechanical experts with decades of experience along with student engineers from various universities.  It is Ms. Modica’s passion to mentor and inspire the the next generation of engineers and especially to show female students of all ages that it is really COOL to be a female “Rocket Scientist”!
